LIVING LIFE ON PURPOSE…empowering lives for meaningful impact!
We welcome you to Christian Assembly! Every week the staff prays that God would give us visitors to whom we would be a blessing. We want to help you feel right at home and our hope is that you would feel welcome to worship with us. It won’t take you long to discover that this Church is truly a family. Our doors are open, as well as our hearts. We have a number of ministries that could well be of spiritual benefit to you. We would be honored to serve you in an ongoing way and would be equally blessed if Christian Assembly would become a place you could call your spiritual home. Please feel free to call the church at 406.721.6884 if you have any questions regarding Christian Assembly or if we may be of any assistance.
We are located in Missoula, Montana, at 1001 Cleveland. We welcome you to join us in the celebration of Jesus Christ our Lord. Our services are held each Sunday at 9:45 and 10:30 A.M. In the service of the Savior,
What We Believe:
The Foursquare Church believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon-Coming King. We stand firm on the foundation set by Hebrews 13:8, which proclaims: “Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever.”
Declaration of Faith:

Pastor Mike McGovern and his wife Pastor Marlene McGovern have been the senior pastors of CAFC since 1974. They are a dedicated team and have submitted their lives to the service of God’s people. Pastors Mike and Marlene are graduates of L.I.F.E. Bible College. After graduation they moved to Missoula to plant our church. They have served here since that time, although they have had many offers to serve in other areas. We are blessed to have them as our senior pastors. What a blessing it has been to minister alongside my husband, Mike, to the precious people in our congregation for the past 40 years! On a daily basis, we can choose to speak life to others and apply God’s Word to every situation. One of my life scriptures is found in Proverbs 3:5-6; the “all” in this portion of scripture is what has inspired me to endeavor to please the Lord in all my decisions, actions and behavior; therefore, consistency is a character trait high on my list. The fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-26 is also a guide for my daily walk.
Family is a high priority! Spending time with Mike is still fun. It delights my heart that our daughter Michelle, her husband Jason, and their sons Duncan and Aidan, live in Missoula, and that we get to be involved in their lives on a regular basis. Our son Michael, his wife Farah, and their two sons, live in Fresno, California, so I eagerly look forward to visits to Fresno to stay connected with them

As a Celebrate Recovery Pastor, I have a heart for helping those who have addictive or compulsive behaviors that keep them in bondage and prevent them from receiving all that God has for them. I am passionate about the gifts of the Spirit, especially the prophetic.
My personal testimony is that some time ago, I was afflicted with infirmities, resulting in being on crutches for over ten years. But God miraculously healed me! I am currently an Assisting Pastor at Christian Assembly, having ministered here for over 12 years in a wide variety of church ministries.

ASSISTING PASTOR and VALLEY SCHOOL OF MINISTRY LEADERSHIP DIRECTOR
My name is Tana Rehbein and I have served in many ministries, having been raised in a Christian home and always feeling compelled to help those who struggle with life and faith. I am currently the Administrator at Christian Assembly’s Valley School of Ministry & Leadership. My future goals include growing the Valley School of Ministry in both content and influence, helping others find their God ordained “sweet spot” in ministry, as well as more public speaking and teaching.
God has carried our family through much pain and trauma, including my husband’s near fatal accident that left him a paraplegic in 2004. Four years later our daughter, Alicia, had a watercraft collision at age 15 which left her with injuries that continue to plague her. These experiences, as well as my own health issues and trials of faith, have taught me many lessons in compassion and the steadfastness of the love and faithfulness of God. God has given me a joyful attitude which reflects my unwavering confidence in His grace, love, and guidance in my life; lessons I am excited to share with others.
On the personal side, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and drinking really good coffee!

I have been attending Christian Assembly since 2005. My husband, Robin, and I have recently retired, allowing us to travel to visit our 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. We have been actively involved in Celebrate Recovery at Christian Assembly and I will be joining Robin in the near future, in the Deer Lodge prison ministry.
I look forward to meeting those ladies who will be participating in Women’s Ministries. I welcome your ideas for fellowship and I am honored to be nurturing hearts for God!

Men’s Advance Ministries
Every man has a measure of faith, a gift, and a life in Christ. The purpose of Men’s Advance Ministries is to assist men to enter in to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to become empowered men of God and strong spiritual leaders. The Men’s Advance Ministry has a men’s fellowship breakfast once a month to promote fellowship, friendships, hear testimonies and inspired teachings. The ministry also has an annual retreat to spend time with God.
I am also involved with Celebrate Recovery in the church and at the Montana State Prison.
My wife, Nordeane, and I have been married for 45 years and have one son living in Portland. I have been active in the Men’s Advance for 12 years and an assisting pastor for 7 years.
